I worked with OpenBike as lead designer at Mighty Studios to develop this concept of a fully connected ecosystem of bicycle parts that is inter-operable on any bike regardless of brand or component set. The parts were aimed at providing the rider turn signals, lighting, connectivity to the bike's shifting and braking, and connectivity to a phone - all in one group of parts. In a short four-week burst, the OpenBike team and I investigated the user interaction of these parts and came up with a full concept that took in consideration mechanical fastening and realistic volumes for the parts. Parts were modeled in SolidWorks and rendered in KeyShot.
